	Matira glanced back as she sees Nayan run out with a small dagger. She gives him a look before smiling as he grabs his sword instead. Suddenly she falls forward against the male that grabbed her and slightly chants under her breathe before sending electrical sparks outward from her skin into his. She smiles as he screams and quickly lets her go before looking at the other men and holding a fireball in her hand, behind her back she smiles slightly and whispers. "Whose next?" With her words, the men quickly vanished into the crowd, she makes the fireball vanish and turns around to look at Nayan before rushing into his arms. "Oh, you saved me! How can i ever repay you?" She looks up him with her light purple eyes that are slowly changing back to green before leaning her head on his chest and sniffling slightly. "I was so scared."

	Nayan widened his eyes as the girl drew closer, brushing hair out of his eyes. Swallowing, he was about answer her almost statement about him admiring her kind, when she pulled back and showed him a sly smile. "Oh, no problem," he grinned awkwardly, straightening his clothes, wondering why he felt his throat harden as it dried up, slightly nervous around her. Nayan was never nervous around girls before, so why was this Matira different? Despite his slight worries, Nayan watched, casually, as she walked away when a gang of men - things, he wasn't quite sure what they were - suddenly attacked her. Without hesitation, Nayan grabbed his dagger that hung from his belt and lunged forward, shouting in his most threatening voice, "Unhand her, fools!" Glancing down at his dagger, he furrowed his brow, laughing a little at his mistake before throwing the small weapon on the ground and grabbing for his sword that swung on his back. Pointing the sword at the group of creatures, he cried, "I said, let her go!"

	Matira slowly leans closer to him before smiling slightly. "So you admire me, my dear?" She shakes her head slightly and lets her ears show once more before slowly reaching up and brushing back his hair from his face. "So you hate your own kind, yet you love mine? I wonder why that is." She slowly leans back and turns away slightly before smiling and looking back at him. "Thank you for the wonderful necklace." She then turns and starts heading down to the docks before glancing down at her necklace and smiling slightly, unaware that her ears were still showing. Suddenly she bumps into someone and curses slightly before looking up at the male creature in front of her. ""Where do you think you're going, pretty elf girl?"" Matira gasps slightly as the male quickly grabs her arm and tries to pull her away. She glances around and sees humans scattering across the dock before frowning and trying to twist away from him. ~There are too many people here to use magic. ~ She thought before screaming outloud. "LET ME GO!"

	Nayan smirked a little bit, seeing her hidden pouch in the corner of his eye just before she asked him if there was a problem. "A problem? Oh, no no. Quite the opposite, actually," Nayan grinned a little bit, pocketing the purse of money before continuing, his face now slightly distant. "To be honest, I don't like humans much. Yes, I know, I'm a human too," he laughed, smirking. "But, it's the elves, like you, who I admire." Well, okay, so he kept a little - well, a lot - of information out, and it wasn't like he was going to share his whole life story with a stranger as such, even if she were an elf.

	Matira smiles slightly before leaning closer and slowly reaches towards the bodice of her dress and grabs a second bag of coins slightly revealing it then slowly pushes it back down. She flashes a smile at him before glancing around. She then smiles slightly before twitching her ears slightly, she then moves her hair back over her ears before frowning as she sees him looking at them. "Are they a problem?" she asks, trying not to sound hurt or annoyed.

	"Matira," Nayan smirked, saying her name out loud, liking the sound of it from his own lips. His eyes took a glimpse of her as her fingers wrapped hair behind her ears - wait, what, she was an elf? Nayan hadn't met an elf for years since he had left the Elvin town he had grown up in. The image of her ears flickered a memory of Ambrose, the elf he had learnt to consider his brother, and his parents. He had left them all when he had decided to discover the world for himself after the lessons from his father about not trusting other humans. Nayan had always wished to find the Elvin village once again - to see his parents, his family - yet everywhere he looked, any entrance was closed off, invisible. Nayan sighed, distant, before watching her levitate the purse far above his head. He watched in wonder before chuckling, "You drive a hard bargain, don't you?" The purse landed in his wagon and he smirked a little before counting out the money in the purse, feeling slightly guilty for taking all the money she had on her - she was an elf after all, it was the humans he cheated out of money. "Are you sure you want to spend all this?" He asked, his expression much more considerate and real than before, glancing into her green eyes that sparkled as much as the jewel on the necklace.

	Matira smiles slightly before tilting her head and looks at up at him before flipping her hair back. "Matira." She thens looks at the necklace once more before smiling and tucks her hair behind her ears, revealing her pointed ears. She then reaches back before slowly grabbing her coin purse and leviates it over his head slightly out of his reach. She giggles before swiftly snapping her head and dropping it onto his cart. She then leans back and waits for him to count the coins. "Is that enough?" She leans forward and rests her elbows on his cart before smiling slightly.

	Nayan raised his index finger to his lips and whispered, "That's a secret" with a little wink and a grin. Success! It was clear she loved the necklace and, as she lifted her hair up, Nayan, gently sweeping his fingers over her skin, he clasped the beautiful piece of jewellery around her neck before stating, "Perfect." He showed her one of his cheesy grins, watching her admire the necklace. She asked him the price then and he gave a little wink before saying, "However much you've got." Okay, that wasn't true, but it was his trick of enticing her into buying it, knowing it was affordable, even if affordable meant everything she had, money wise. "Oh," He added, closing the small trunk and sliding it further into the wagon. "And it'll also cost you your name." He grinned a little before smiling, "Nayan."

	Matira slowly looks up and glances at the necklace. She smiles as she looks at it before slowly poking it and tilts her head. "Where did you get this?" She leans down slowly before pulling her hair out of the way so that the male could slip the necklace over her head. She then smiles and looks down before slowly stroking it and placing it on the center of her chest. She then glances down before frowning slightly. "How much?"
