Cleed closed in and Seamus held very still as she pecked him on the cheek. Men don't usually blush, especially warriors, but Seamus colored a little as the nymph girl retreated from him. "Better bring that next time too. It's good at knocking me out." She gestured to his weapon. Seamus smiled at Cleed's comment but said nothing as she continued to speak. "I'll always be here, in these forests. You won't have far to look... that is if you want to find me." Giving both of the women a quick nod, Seamus turned. "Goodbye, and good luck to the both of you. Try not to kill anyone Cleed." At that last part Seamus turned back and gave her a wink to make sure she knew he was only joking. As he faced the road ahead Seamus inhaled deeply. Alright. Back to my task...

Maria waves goodbye to Seamus. She turns to Cleed. "Yes, I'm a halfling. I'm half elf and half water lily." She looked Cleed in the eyes. She gave Cleed another hug and hugged Seamus.

Cleed watched carefully as Seamus let go of her hand and announced that it was time to go. There was something about him that intrigued her but she was still wary of him, as she was with anyone. It would be easy for her to lose her senses around a human like Seamus, and attack him for his energy.

Cleed shook her head, trying to push the lust for human energy out of her thoughts. Smiling slowly as Seamus suggested that they would meet again, Cleed answered with bright eyes, "I guarantee it."

She couldn't help but laugh at his grin, covering her face as she giggled to herself, stepping up to him and, on her tip toes, gave him a small kiss on the cheek. She didn't know what drove her to do so; maybe it was the idea of being able to smell his masculine scent or taste his skin.

Sighing, she drew back and pointed to his sword, "Better bring that next time too. It's good at knocking me out."

Smiling awkwardly, she turned around and looked at Maria, remembering the words she spoke of being a "halfling". Before giving Maria her own smile, Cleed looked at Seamus one more time and said, "I'll always be here, in these forests. You won't have far to look... that is if you want to find me."

She let out a small, quiet laugh and then examined Maria again, watching her closely and waiting to see what she would say next.

"So... you're like me too?"

Seamus slowly navigated the forest, painfully aware of the fragile hand that rested in his. He didn't know what he thought of Cleed. Something about her drew him in and another part of her made him want to draw his sword or run away. He eyed her hair as they walked for a moment. The leaves that rested in it were cracked and spackled now. Seamus was aware of Maria crunching along behind them. He wasn't sure of her motive but he didn't think it to be hostile. Seamus stopped walking when they reached the road. Letting out a sigh he turned to the two girls. "Its time for me to return to my work." Seamus didn't fancy the idea of running off to kill some men, but he knew if he stayed with Cleed something bad was bound to happen. Her hazel eyes seemed to tell him it was alright to stay, but Seamus shook that feeling off. He didn't want Cleed to lose control because he knew eventually he would damage her. Placing his hand on his sword, Seamus stretched a little and gave a goofy grin. "Perhaps we will meet again Cleed."

Maria looked at Cleed for a moment. "I'm sorry my name is Maria. I'm a halfling too." She goes for a walk with everyone.
Kimi Posted on Oct 25 2011, 01:17 PM
Feeling Seamus's presence beside her, she squinted her tear filled eyes to him, seeing him squatted next to her. His light words of a possible walk wasn't completely burning to her ears but it wasn't exactly the first thing she thought would cheer anyone up - unless, of course, someone was sad because no one would go for a walk with them.

Yet it was pleasing enough to break a small smile on Cleed's lips and let her fingers curl over his as she stood up with Seamus. Her fingers dropped from his, half missing the warmth, half feeling uncomfortable.

Rubbing her wet eyes with the palm of her hands, she sighed, glancing around and pondering the idea of a walk; it wasn't exactly the most prettiest place to walk in - the dark forest - but it would be a change from the sound of the rippling water of the spring that was slightly getting on her nerves now.

Massaging her forehead that had begun to protest with a migraine, Cleed glanced at the other girl, whispering a "sorry" for acting so... well angry.

There was something about her that wasn't human; she knew that and with her saying that she knew how Cleed felt, well then she must be suffering from a curse too.

Leaning her head back, Cleed thought as her eyes wondered the leaves of trees looming over her. She was fed up of this place, even though her being magnified nature, it was disturbing in a way. The only place that accepted such a corrupt creature as her was a lonely forest - a place to be feared.

There was no doubt that she belonged there but she wanted to break out of it, break away from everything that she was.

Slipping her fingers around Seamus's wrist, she gently pulled him along, wandering in any sort of direction, saying, "Let's go for that walk then."

Glancing around, she looked at the other girl, Cleed's eyes searching for some sort of similarity between them and she tried to smile, giving a little whisper of, "Come if you want," with her eyes.

Letting her fingers slide from his wrist and into his hand, Cleed sighed, walking into the deep, forest trees of her home.

Seamus was confused. He gathered his sword and tried not to look at the hurt expression Cleed had on her face while she cried. His blade made a ringing noise as he sheathed it and Seamus clenched his jaw. If I don't get on with this job soon the targets will have moved on... He sighed audibly and shook his head. But I'm no assassin. Deciding not to dwell on it for now, Seamus gazed at Cleed. She pointed at him and then proceeded to have a meltdown. Yelling and crying all at the same time. "Cleed.." Seamus didn't bother acknowledging the other girl. She hadn't introduced herself but she was acting as if she knew them. Probably another strange forest creature if she can do that with water.

Seamus knelt next to Cleed and raised his eyebrow at her. He had no solution for her and he refused to maim her wings. "Shall we go for a walk? This pleasant humid air is getting to me." Seamus cracked a grin and tugged at his shirt as if he was uncomfortable. "Come on." The warrior offered Cleed his hand as he stood up. His eyes were on the other girl though. I wonder who she is.

Feeling a jab against her wrist, Cleed dropped the sword quickly, it's blade clanking against the forest floor. Covering her face with her hands, Cleed let the tears soak into her skin as she heard the gush of the water barrier fall and the curious girl run over to her, carefully healing her wrist.

"How do you understand?" Cleed whispered to the girl. "How can anyone understand?!"

Stumbling back, staring accusingly at the two, pointing her finger at Seamus. "He's just a human! He doesn't know what it's like! It's not just the wings it's -"

Cleed shivered her words, feeling bad for shouting and whispering the end of her sentence, "It's everything."

She had never felt so aggressive, so angry at herself before, and her eyes lay on the two people standing before her. "Go on. Say it. Say that Cleed is a freak, say that she's a lusting, energy stealing monster!"

Turning her back, she ripped out the leaves in her hair, feeling the tears streaming down now. "Because you're right."

Quietly, sitting down on the ground, fearful of everything now, regretting getting so close to Seamus before, showing her her Succubus side. "And no one cares."

Maria dropped the water curtain and rushes toward the woman. Maria heals the woman's wrist. "Shhhhhhh it will be alright. I know how you feel." Maria hugs the woman and gives Seamus the I dare you to say something look

At the girl's comment Seamus stopped looking at the water. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. Or did he? Would it get her to leave? Just as Seamus began to stare again Cleed quickly emerged from the shadows. He gritted his teeth, but didn't say anything. The strange girl interacted with the water for a moment then in a lightning fast move grabbed Seamus sword from it's scabbard. "Wha--hey!" He quickly raised his fists and took two steps back, ready to fight. Cleed didn't move aggressively however. Instead she began trying to maim herself. A hasty and uncoordinated move later and Seamus heard a sickening snap from Cleed's wrist. How she was still able to hold his sword out to him he had no idea. "Cut them off for me... Please." His eyes widened. Why would the poor girl want her uh... wings cut off? "No, I won't." He quickly dashed forward and knocked against Cleed's broken wrist lightly, trying to make the sword fall from her grip. Seamus didn't enjoy causing the girl pain but it was quickly evident that she was not in the condition to be in possession of a fatal weapon.
