Due to the recent influx of new members the staff have decided it is time to revise and update some aspects of the rules and boards. From this point onward, it is highly recommended that players attempt to match the quality of their roleplaying partner[s] in threads; roleplaying with yourself completely negates the theory of collaborative storytelling between roleplayers and causes threads to become stale and die quickly. Therefore, we are now giving members the option of "booting" other players from their threads by use of a vote. If a majority of the player's involved in the thread (or the thread creator if it's only two players) concur to boot a player from a thread, all the booted player's posts in that thread can be ignored. (For players booting another member, please make a note somewhere in the thread that you and the other players collectively decided to boot the player.) Please also note that when posting [O]pen threads, you can specify the level of roleplayer you would like (beginner friendly, intermediate, advanced, ect.) in the topic description.

Another note in this announcement is that we will be raising the requirements for new characters effective immediately; appearance now requires two paragraphs or ten sentences, personality requires three paragraphs or fifteen sentences and history requires a minimum of three paragraphs or twenty sentences. It should also be noted that characters are not flawless; they MUST have debilitating weaknesses.
