The World In General:

HOW HUMANS AND SUPERNATURAL CREATURES CO-EXIST

Humans are, as a majority, unaware of the supernatural creatures that reside in the world. Thus, there is no "panic" in the human population. That's not to say that some people don't know about it, or at least aren't secretly suspicious. As for the supernatural creatures (or "immortals" as I frequently refer to them as, despite some of them not being truly 'immortal'), the possibilities are endless both with their actual species and their attributes / abilities / powers. When creating an "immortal" or supernatural character, it is asked that your character have weaknesses to combat their strengths. Currently, there are no bans on any supernatural powers. So, time travel, telepathy, mind control, ect. are allowed and welcomed... as long as there is an equally debilitating weakness. The stronger the power, the stronger the weakness. This is to ensure that the character is "kill-able" or at least stoppable so they don't become god-like creatures. God-like characters aren't fun to roleplay with. Other than the addition to the supernatural creatures, the world is mostly unaffected. If you wish to contribute to a large scale panic or widespread destruction, please seek approval from an administrator (as in cities destroyed and thousands of people killed).

Specific Settings:

WHERE OUR ROLEPLAYS ARE SET AT

Our settings are generally pretty specific; we give you a multitude of cities and outside areas for you to use, and even and "elsewhere" board for anywhere else you might want to play your character. These specific settings can be reasonably altered to fit your characters and roleplays. Example of Reasonable Alteration: Your in the forest section and you add a brook into the setting. Example of Unreasonable Alteration: Your in New York City and somehow theres a desert in the middle of it.

Powers / Magic:

what you can and can't do

Magic and powers, as said above, must have a weakness. They have to be combat-able. Other than that, there are no restrictions on magic. Obviously, you can't have an endless supply of energy to use your magic with (it has to run out eventually), but I will not put any restrictions on any magic other than instant killing/ paralyzing. Why? Because then it just won't ever be fun to roleplay with your character.

If you have any more questions that could contribute to this guide explaining our game's world, please feel free to post here in a discussion.
